Tournament at Chaminade on Saturday Dec. 5

We will participate in the Gateway Chess League tournament at Chaminade on Dec. 5. Since this is so close to WCA, we will NOT take the school bus. Please meet at Chaminade by 8:45 am Saturday morning. If you plan to go, please let Mr. J know for pre-registration.

Nate Beat the Coach!

Today after school Nate challenged Mr. J to an official "Coach Challenge" game. After an hour and 40 minutes and 63 moves, Nate had a pawn, a knight, his king and a newly promoted pawn/queen to Mr. J's lonely king and it was all over. Nate can now boast, "I beat the coach!" Kudos to Nate! Check out the winning position...
